Over the course of the ensuing ten years we selected over 30 English language study and devotional books and had them translated, printed, bound and marketed in major cities across Russia. We took pride in making authors such as Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther, and Maxie Dunnam available to the Russian readers just recovering from Communism. Travel during retirement has taken us to China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Greece. We’ve enjoyed traveling by ourselves, and with groups Iike Elderhostel. The last trip, which I made alone at 81 years of age, was to Prague, Czech Republic. Blanche and I celebrated our 58th wedding anniversary this year. • Eulah Margaret White White

Eulah Margaret White White, 3001 Clairemont Lane, Euless, TX 76039, 817-571-6330.  How good it is to receive the ACORN periodically.  Just wish that more from my class would let us hear from them.  My husband (Andy) and I moved to Euless from near Canton in October 2004 to be near our daughter, Nancy, in Colleyville. It has been good to be back in the Metroplex.  Andy passed away December 30, 2006.  We were married fifty-eight and a half years.  We also lost Peggy, one of our twin daughters, when she was thirty-seven. I have four beautiful grandchildren, two boys and two girls, and one great grandchild – fourteen month old Caroline.  She is Peggy’s grandchild.  I still enjoy our home and the many friends I’ve made here. I am still in touch with my dear high school friends:  Jean Johnson White lives in Oak Cliff; Charlotte Saunders Love is in ST. Petersburg, Florida, and Jean Johnson Hodges lives in Joplin, Missouri. We had a treat get-together a few years ago. Joyce is the only one who is not a widow. Life has been interesting and rewarding with wonderful family, friends, and activities.  I spent years teaching.  My inspiration was Miss Ruth Ruffin.  I had her for six semesters and couldn’t fit her into my schedule the last two. Thank you, Adamson, for a wonderful experience.

Milton Lam,  written by Judy Lam, Judy.Lam@eu.dodea.edu. Milton and I married in July of 1966.  He was drafted that year and we spent 2 years in Germany, 2 in Colorado and returned to Texas to attend NTSU. In 1974 we left Dallas and have lived in Belgium ever since, working for the Department of Defense.  The following article was printed in the December 18, 2007 issue of SHAPE Community Life.

Milton and Judy Lam arrived at SHAPE in August of 1974.  Milton died peacefully in Braine-le-Monte on 4 June 2007. He had worked at the Entertainment Centre, ran the Arts and Crafts Ship Photo Lab for 10 years, worked in marketing at SHAPE and Chievres, spent a year with Outdoor Recreation, and for the past 8 years worked in Transportation, first at SHAPE and then at Chievres.  Milton’s passions were photography, music and his family.  July teaches and counsels at the U.S. Elementary School.  Bronwen and Morgan were born here in the 80’s and attended school in the SHAPE Belgian, UK and US sections. They returned to Belgium last spring to be with their parents. It was Milton’s decision to remain in this community during his 13 month illness and to be buried here in Belgium where he had felt very much at home for 33 years.
